We are seeking highly motivated, goal and detail oriented people with a history of building relationships with the upmost integrity. Working with our team requires flexible hours, consistent follow up and exceptional communication skills.
A Homewood Surgical independent sales associate is responsible for, among other things:
- Providing surgical case coverage support including training surgeons and hospital staff on proper servicing of devices, and ensuring that proper instruments and implants are available and ready for case prior to its onset.
- Building strong relationships with key surgeons, while covering more routine orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen.
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team to build, implement and execute sales plans.
- Assisting with planning, coordinating and executing local educational and sales events intended to augment the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals.
- Complying with all mandatory training requirements established by Homewood Surgical including training in the areas of product information, operating room etiquette, universal precautions, blood borne pathogens, sterile field preservation, compliance with legal and ethical standards, and our partners’ compliance programs.
Expected Areas of Competence:
- In depth understanding of customers and their requirements.
- Clinically proficient in anatomy and willing to work within a medical facility's operating room.
- Ability to become technically proficient with the designated portfolio of products.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence others.
- Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 pounds, independently.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
